Awards & funding for studying abroad

This service supports University of Alberta students in finding and securing financial support for education abroad experiences. The service provides information on a wide range of funding options, including Education Abroad Awards, faculty-specific and external awards, featured funding for specific programs or destinations, and eligibility for government student loans while studying abroad. Students can learn about application requirements and deadlines, which vary by program and typically occur throughout the year. Advisors are available to meet with students in person or virtually to answer questions, explain funding options, and help students plan financially for short-term, summer, internship, exchange, and other international learning opportunities.
