Entrepreneurial support for commercializing research
Did you create a new invention or idea through your research that has market potential? The Office of Advisory Services, Pathways, Innovation Resources, & Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE) helps students, faculty, staff, and alumni turn ideas and expertise into enterprise and meaningful impact. The office provides coordinated entrepreneurial pathways, practical advisory services, and access to mentorship, training, funding opportunities, and industry connections. Supporting journeys from early exploration through venture creation, commercialization, and growth, ASPIRE connects university talent with the people and resources needed to succeed including a network of on campus incubators. Its purpose is to build entrepreneurial capacity across the U of A and translate that capacity into economic and societal benefits for Alberta and beyond.
