Experiential learning opportunities (Alberta School of Business)
The Alberta School of Business offers a variety of programs throughout the year to connect BCom, MBA, and MMA students with industry professionals, organizations, and hands-on activities, both within and outside of Edmonton. Students gain valuable exposure to workplaces, networking, industry trends, and opportunities to practice the skills they learn in the classroom.
Service Offerings
- YEG Industry Insights Sprints (half-day trips to 1 organization via public transit)
- YEG Industry Insights Treks (full-day trips to 2–3 organizations via charter bus)
- Career Treks (single- or multi-day trips to other cities)
- Case competitions (hosted by ASB or externally)
- ASB Case Competitions Program
Cost
No charge to participate in sprints and treks (transportation is included; meals are not). Case competitions costs may vary.Special Conditions
