Meet with a social worker

The Social Work Team provides individualized, one-to-one case management services delivered by Registered Social Workers. The team works collaboratively with students to strengthen mental health and well-being, increase daily stability, and support successful navigation of personal, academic, and systemic challenges. Social Workers assist with housing, finances, academics, wellness, family dynamics, life skills, and system navigation, while coordinating care with on- and off-campus services. The service emphasizes timely access to student-friendly mental health support, early identification of concerns, and connection to appropriate resources. Through collaboration with campus partners and wellness initiatives, the Social Work Team helps reduce service gaps and improves access to effective, coordinated mental health care.

Hours of Operation
September - April: Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
May - August: Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Closed weekends, holidays, and during Winter Closure.

What to Expect

Students can expect timely, confidential support from Registered Social Workers. Services are student-centred, collaborative, and reliable, with coordinated care, appropriate referrals, and ongoing support tailored to individual needs.
