Request documents to verify my student status

The University of Alberta utilizes the MyCreds system for secure document sharing. Verification documents can be requested for one of the following reasons:

  • Proof of course completion
  • Employment (job application) purposes
  • Immigration (i.e. leaving or entering the country while a student)
  • Banking (i.e. student line of credit or RESP)
  • RESPs set up through bank
  • Proof of degree for certain agencies (APEGA, CARNA, ATA/TQS, etc.)
  • Insurance or daycare purposes

Verification documents may include Enrolment Verifications and Degree/Credential Verifications.

How to Access

For a digital document (MyCreds), use Bear Tracks:
1. Login to Bear Tracks.
2. Submit request for Verification Document.
3. Access Verification Document via MyCreds, once available.
For a paper document, submit the Enrolment Verification Request Form:
1. Complete the Enrolment Verification Request Form
2. Collect your Enrolment Verification document at the Student Service Centre or Augustana Student Services Office, once available. Or, you can request to have the document mailed for a fee.
