Virtual reality (VR) spaces

Access to a virtual reality lab equipped with advanced VR systems for immersive learning, research, and exploration. This bookable space provides opportunities to use equipment such as Valve Index and Meta Quest Pro headsets, along with supporting technology for interactive experiences. The service supports academic, non-commercial activities and offers a range of VR applications across disciplines. First-time users receive guidance on safe and effective use. Available at the Geoffrey & Robyn Sperber Health Sciences Library, with booking required in advance and usage guidelines in place to ensure a safe and shared environment.

How to Access

  • Book a VR space in advance (at least 24 hours) at the Sperber Virtual Reality Lab.
  • First-time users must complete a short tutorial with designated Sperber staff.
  • Follow all usage and safety guidelines.
