Guided Study Sessions: Focus Fridays
Are you an undergraduate student looking for a solid study routine, or do you just need a dedicated space to get things done? Join us for Focus Fridays: weekly 50-minute study session designed to help you stay on track with your coursework all term long. Each week features a new theme: from time management and reading strategies to exam prep.
How to join
We keep the sessions small (10 students max.) to ensure participants get personalized support. You can secure your place in two ways:
- Book your spot: Reserve one of 5 guaranteed seats in advance through campusBRIDGE.
- Drop in: Show up on Friday morning and join the queue via WaitWell for one of our 5 first-come, first-served drop-in spaces.
When: Every Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. *Starts Sept. 11, 2026
Where: 2-10 Cameron Library Boardroom
Sessions start Sept. 11 and run weekly throughout the Fall Term. Last session is Dec. 4 (No session on Nov. 13).
Session structure
The basic structure will be the same for every session.
- Display agenda/welcome
- Take attendance
- Introduce the theme
- Open course materials
- Hold a group discussion on the theme
- Study while the facilitator rotates and provides 1-1 support
- Wrap up and next steps
