Health Promotion Volunteer

As a Health Promotion volunteer, you'll work with a team of driven changemakers to design and launch programs that address real student needs, from mental health awareness campaigns to nutrition workshops.

Unitea Volunteer

As a Unitea volunteer, you'll create genuine connections that combat student isolation and build a stronger university community. Lead one-on-one tea sessions, facilitate meaningful group discussions and be the friendly face that reminds students they're not alone in their university journey.

Days of Action Intern

As a Days of Action Intern, you’ll work to foster increased understanding of mental health and promote a more supportive, compassionate community. This one-year internship involves collaborating with the Days of Action Chair to provide leadership and administrative support for interdisciplinary campus working groups in planning and launching impactful university programs.

Intern recruitment typically takes place during March of each year and is open to any undergraduate student who has completed one year of study at the U of A. Check here or on the Days of Action webpage for more information.


miyomahcihowin Intern

Are you passionate about Indigenous wellness? As a miyomahcihowin Intern, you’ll have the unique opportunity to promote holistic well-being, plan impactful events and foster community connections across campus. Working directly with the miyomahcihowin Program Coordinator for a one-year term (August-April), you’ll work on initiatives tailored to Indigenous mental health and community connection.

Intern recruitment typically takes place during March of each year and is open to any Indigenous student studying full-time at the U of A. Check here or on the miyomahcihowin webpage for more information.
