Hello, my name is Taylar Brown! I am from the Tsleil-Waututh Reserve in North Vancouver. I am currently a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and minoring in Native Studies. I am pursuing this path to build a career dedicated to supporting Indigenous healing, restoring cultural and community connections and empowering Indigenous voices.
I am so excited to intern with miyomahcihowin and support Indigenous students! I love everything related to sports, overall wellness, and finding health out in nature. If you ever want to go for a nature walk, hear about our next wellness events, have any wellness events you would like to see happen or just need a friend to chat with, please let me know. I cannot wait to connect!
